What can I say, when most women at this time of the year are strolling along Union Square, dreaming of Louis Vuiton, YSL and Gucci, I dream of knifes, a new squeeze bottle or even of a new spatula!

I love the Economy restaurant fixture, it might be my favorite shop in town! Here you can find anything related to making or serving food, no matter if you are opening a restaurant, doing some catering or just planning a small party.

Of course if you work for the restaurant industry you’ll get  even better prices. But for me this is the place I know I will find anything I need. Planning for our Christmas party, I needed a couple extra large plastic bowls and some squeeze bottles for plate decoration, got them!

Don’t expect the Crate and barrel service here. This is a place for professionals and you should know what you want, though the staff is really helpful, they are really busy. To me I love looking at all their dinnerware, rows of plates and glasses...  Just loose yourself in that place and look at everything, if that doesn’t inspire you to cook then I am not sure what else will!

Summary: I love this place, for their prices and for the amazing selections of products. I know I can find anything I am looking for there.
