I have been battling with my notation system for my reviews, I guess more influenced by what was already out there, I tried to make sense of it. Today to make it easier to my readers I decided to change my notation system.

As I remember when I was a child growing up in France, my teachers always gave me (and every students) a notation over 20. 0/20 being the worst you can have, 10/20 being an average and 20/20 being perfection.

I will use this system for my restaurant reviews, hopefully it will make it easier to understand. And it surely will make more sense to me.

0/20 to 5/20 = don’t even bother going

6/20 to 10/20 = mediocre to average

11/20 to15/20 = just ok to good food

16/20 to 18/20 = highly recommended

19/20 = outstanding

20/20 = would be perfection. I am assuming that it would be a quest to find that 20/20 restaurant and meal.

So here we go, feel free to go back to some of my old reviews as I will update them with this new notation.
