Double Decker

I have to admit once in a while I crave for junk food. Oh yes, you heard it, I even surprise myself but the Frenchy is dreaming of burgers, wings, fries and other... sometimes!
My craving happened when I was walking around Hayes Valley and I walked in Double Decker. The last time I was in this restaurant was about two years ago and it was a nice California cuisine restaurant. I guess they had close down and Double Decker was born.
I asked for the original hamburger, the fries and I had to try their Buffalo wings!
The Burger is made with Niman Ranch meat, the patty is on the thin side, it was over done, but it didn’t bother me too much. Everything looked fresh and was made to order, the fries were nicely seasoned.
The wings were as expected, spicy enough to bring a smile on my face.
This is not my favorite burger in town but Double Decker gets the job done. It was good. I came out satisfied, with a full belly and a smile, what else can I ask for?
Summary: If you are in the neighborhood and are craving for a burger, then drop by Double Decker. $6.95 for the Burger, $4.95 for 1/2 dozen wings, you won’t be disappointed.
Note: All you can eat wings night on Wednesday and Happy Hour (Mon-Fri) from 3pm to 6pm with 25% off beers and sides.
