I bought one of the best kitchen appliance in a long time. It a Cuisinart Panini press and griddle.
I love sandwiches but prefer when they are warm.
Well I have to say since I bought it I have been using it a lot, last minute friends coming over: Panini and salad, wanting a little snack: Grilled ham and cheese.
And the best, my imagination is getting a work out thinking about all the different sandwich I can make!
So far I have made the Truffle ham and gruyère on Acme loaf. You can find the Truffle ham a Lucca ravioli on 1100 Valencia street, $6.49/lb yes you heard it! I asked them to slice it super thin, with a few slice of gruyère. I brushed the bread with a bit of Olive oil and on the panini press.
I also did the Artichoke pesto, grilled chicken and cheese panini. The artichoke pesto is just made with chopped artichoke hearts, garlic, olive oil and salt and pepper.
Served with a salad it’s the perfect lunch!
Bon Appétit!
